Where you’ll hunt
You'll hunt the high country around Quartz Hill Station in Windwhistle, Canterbury — big skies, real elevation, and the kind of landscape that doesn't photograph as well as it feels to actually be in. This is the ground we hunt out of, and it's as much a part of the trip as the animals are.
Where you’ll stay
At the end of each day, you're not roughing it — you're back to Terrace Downs Resort, a luxury lodge set in the shadow of the Southern Alps, also in Windwhistle. Good food, real comfort, and a proper place to put your feet up after a day in the hills.
Beyond the hunt
If you're bringing someone who isn't hunting, I can arrange other activities and experiences for them while you're out in the hills. And if you want to build in a day beyond the hunt itself, we can talk about what's possible — Terrace Downs has its own golf course on-site, and this part of New Zealand has plenty more to offer beyond the hills.
