Chamois
Sharp-eyed, and always one ridge ahead.
Chamois are the sharpest-eyed animal I hunt, and the ones that will humble you fastest. They're rarely where you glassed them ten minutes ago. It's a hunt built on patience and good glass work as much as fitness — long looks across a basin, then a careful stalk when you find the right one.
Season
Year round. Best through the rut, from May to June.
Terrain & what to expect
Steep basins and rock country, similar range to Tahr but a different style of hunting — more glassing and stalking, less pure climbing. Still physical, but I'll match the pace to what works for you (see the FAQ on fitness and heli-assist).
What’s included
Inclusions are tailored to each hunt rather than one fixed package — here's what's typically part of it:
Guiding led by Tony personally, with trusted help on hand when needed
Luxury accommodation and meals at Terrace Downs Resort, Windwhistle
All in-country logistics once you land
